Benefit: Staff and staff immediate family present at the time of visit can access any casual admission at no cost upon presentation of the Digital Staff ID.
How to use: Check in at Customer Service at every visit. Show your Tanda App with recently scheduled shifts (proof of employment). Customer service staff will record your visit and issue you a receipt noting the total number of admissions.
Noteworthy:
- By definition, a casual admission (or drop-in admission) does not require any preregistration. However, all casual admissions are subject to availability. So if you are after something specific (ie. group fitness class or to shoot some hoops) please visit the centres website for amenity scheduling and availability. Example casual admissions include: gym access, group fitness classes, swimming, stadium sports, squash, roller-skating, spa/slide/inflatables.
- Your immediate family also receives casual admissions at no charge. However, you (with proof of employment by showing the Tanda App) must be present and participating. Lastly, family is defined as a maximum of 5 admissions, max two adults and up to 3 children (supporting evidence such as a Medicare card may be required).
- Staff may utilise KidsClub services (childminding) for their children while utilising the recreation centre. Standard KidsClub rules and conditions apply, prior registration/booking required. Request/approval from the local Site Manager is required for staff to utilise KidsClub for their children while on shift.
- Full term and conditions
Benefit: Staff can access gym or swim casual admission at no cost upon presentation of the Tanda App.
How to use:
- For lap or leisure swimming an online booking is required (select $0.00 member option). This step is required for gym access only during periods of reduced capacity due to Covid-19 restrictions.
- Check in at Customer Service. Show the Tanda App (the overview tab showing your next scheduled shift). Customer service staff will record your visit and issue you a receipt.
Noteworthy:
- Benefit covers gym or pool access only (does not include other casual admission types) and excludes group fitness classes (full casual fees apply).
- Complimentary access does not apply on 'event days'. All event days will be listed on the SA Aquatic Centre website.
- In contrast to YMCA SA managed recreation centres, the benefit only applies to the YMCA Staff member (not family). Cafe/merchandise/program discounts do not apply at SAALC.
- SA Aquatic Centre staff have complimentary access to all YMCA SA recreation sites (any casual admission)
Benefit: Staff and their immediate family receive 20% off the standard ‘non-member’ advertised price on registered programs and services.
How to use for recreation programs:
- To receive the Staff Access Benefit you must register and make payment in-person. Check in at Customer Service, explain which program you are looking to register for, and show the Tanda App as proof of employment (showing your next scheduled shift). Feel free to call beforehand to confirm availability.
- Centre staff will then complete registration. If the program is within the 'Class' module of Links, the family account must be set up with you as the primary account holder (responsible person).

All future bookings must be made by email or by calling the OSHC Admin Team (8200 2516). How to use for YMCA Youth Camps:
- Send an email to the contact email address noted for the program on the Youth Camps website, explaining which camp you are interested in and attached a current screenshot of your Tanda App showing your next scheduled shift. Program staff will respond to confirm the best way to complete registration for the specific program.

Examples include, but not limited to, sport leagues and programs, term-based programs/challenges/bootcamps, Swimming Lessons, Birthday Parties, OSHC, Vacation Care, Youth Camps, etc. Exclusions include Youth/Jr Parliament, Leap programs and Team based fees for stadium sports.

Proof of family connection may be required (ie. Medicare Card).
- For OSHC and Vacation Care programs, staff receive a 20% discount off the ‘gap’ (i.e. the portion of fee remaining after Child Care Subsidy (CCS) rebate). Children attending OSHC (before and after school care) must attend the school of the OSHC service. To receive the 20% discount you must email the OSHC Admin Team a screenshot of your YMCA Staff Digital ID from your phone and reference the days of your bookings.
- For YMCA Camps, the 20% discount applies to camp fees and does not apply to transport costs.
