Community Open Day

Join our YMCA SA 175th birthday celebration!

Come celebrate 175 years of fun, fitness and community with a full day of family activities, tasty food and plenty of excitement.

Saturday 18 October 9:00am-5:00pm
Cost: FREE
This event will take place regardless of temperature


What's on:

  • 9am-12pm: free swimming lesson assessments
  • 11am-3pm: giant inflatable obstacle course

  • All day: tunes and more

  • BBQ fundraiser, available for purchase on the day.

Just walk in, no need to book.
Bring the whole family and join the fun; it’s a day not to miss!

Pool Closure Dates

  • Sunday 6 December 2025 Pool closed 7am – 5pm
  • Friday 12 December The Pool will be open for general admission from 3pm-4:30pm subject to temperature. Early closure due to Strathalbyn Christmas Pageant and Christmas Where the Angas Flows.
  • Sunday 15 March 2026 – Pool Closed from 9am – 2:30pm. General admission available from 2:30pm-5pm subject to opening temperature.
