YMCA SA Allied Health Clinical Pilates program

The Clinical Pilates program will introduce a therapist-led Pilates service at selected YMCA recreation centres. It addresses a gap for people with injuries, chronic conditions, mobility limitations, or those returning to exercise after illness or surgery who are not suited to general fitness classes. Delivered by trained allied health clinicians, the program provides safe, individualised, evidence-based exercise in community settings, improving access to inclusive movement, strengthening referral pathways, and supporting better health outcomes, confidence, and ongoing participation in physical activity.

Swiss holiday park multiball

The Parks to launch Multiball

MultiBall is an innovative and inclusive system designed to engage a wide range of community groups. Its versatility opens opportunities for exploration and innovation—whether by creating new programs or enhancing existing one, ensuring offerings remain relevant and appealing to the community.

As a multipurpose, state-of-the-art technology that promotes physical activity, MultiBall has the potential to attract previously underrepresented groups to The Parks during weekdays. This creates a dual benefit: delivering a positive community impact while also activating what is typically a quiet, underutilised daytime space. Because it is technology-driven, the system is highly adaptable, with ongoing updates to its interactive games. This dynamic nature is key to maintaining long-term relevance in an ever-evolving community landscape.
