THE ROLE
The YMCA of South Australia is seeking a Service Director at Strathalbyn Early Learning Centre. As a motivated and customer focused individual, the Director will establish and lead a highly dedicated and passionate team of Educators in the exceptional delivery of the National Quality Framework.
Offering 38 hours a week, as a Full-time role, the Director will help create the highest quality customer service, further the social, emotional, and interpersonal development of children, and foster a supportive environment where children, families and educators feel safe and happy.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- Tertiary qualifications in Children’s Services (or relevant field)
- Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” (RRHAN-EC) Training
- HLTAID012 Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education & Care Setting
- HLTAID009 Provide CPR
- Proven experience as a Service Director and/or experience in a similar leadership capacity
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to staff including maintaining the standards of services
- Demonstrated ability to create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging all people in a friendly and approachable manner
