General Cleaner - Port Lincoln Leisure Centre

THE ROLE

Based at the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our facility remains spotless, hygienic, and inviting for all visitors and staff. As a YMCA SA General Cleaner, every task you complete helps create a positive first impression and contributes to the health, safety, and enjoyment of our community. You’ll work as part of a supportive team that takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards and a professional, welcoming environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out daily routine cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe and presentable facility
• Ensure hygiene standards are met across all areas, including change rooms, public spaces, and staff areas
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively about cleaning and maintenance needs
• Follow all cleaning schedules, checklists, and safety procedures to uphold YMCA SA standards

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

• National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)
• DHS Working with Children Check
• International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
• (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid or equivalent Certificate
• (HLTAID009) Provide CPR or equivalent Certificate
