THE ROLE

If so, here's your opportunity to join YMCA South Australia as a Customer Care Team Leader! Based at The Valleys Lifestyle Centre and reporting to the Community Wellbeing Director, you’ll play a key role in leading our Customer Care team to provide outstanding service across our front-of-house operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide and support staff, be actively involved in the daily operations and ensure every member and guest enjoys a welcoming and positive experience at the Y.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support the Customer Care team to deliver exceptional service to members and guests
  • To be involved in the daily operations which include reception, café, merchandise and program administration
  • Collaborate with other staff to meet the overall goals and objectives of the centre
  • Deliver direct customer service, ensuring a friendly, professional and solutions-focused experience for all visitors

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • National Police Check (NPC) – Certificate must be within six (6) months from date of issue
  • International police check - for applicants who have lived or worked overseas in the past five (5) years
  • DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • (HLTAID009) Provide CPR
  • (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid
  • Interest or knowledge in health and fitness/swimming lessons (Desirable)

Please note, this is a part- time role with an average of 30 hours per week, offering a great balance between work and lifestyle.
