BRIXPO brings over 8,000 LEGO fans and families together at St Clair

More than 100 builds and over 8000 fans and families filled all six basketball courts at St Clair stadium this July, transforming the centre into a colourful showcase for families, exhibitors and LEGO enthusiasts. The event brought people of all ages together to explore creative displays and connect through the shared adventure of LEGO building.

"It's amazing to see so many people from our community coming through our centre to share in a common hobby," St Clair Centre Manager Tristan Owen said. "We're grateful to be part of BRIXPO, and we look forward to welcoming more major community events like this in the future."

One returning exhibitor shared, “It was a pleasure to be back at St Clair for BRIXPO for our 6th time exhibiting here in SA, will be back next year too… love the facilities here.”

While St Clair is well known for basketball, roller skating and recreation programs, its flexible spaces allow it to host events for many different community groups. Upcoming events include Fashion Thrift, the Comic and Toy Fair and the NBL1 Finals.

By opening its facilities to diverse events and activities, St Clair Recreation Centre creates more opportunities for people to connect, participate, and feel welcome, outworking the Y’s vision of facilitating communities where everyone can belong and thrive.
