We are looking for dynamic, engaging, highly motivated instructors to deliver a variety of Pilates and Yoga classes in our brand-new Hot Mat Studio at The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre! We are seeking qualified Yoga and Pilates instructors with a minimum of 6 months experience and ideally, an Ausactive-recognised Cert III or IV in Fitness, or a Group Fitness Exercise Instructor qualification. Our classes are not pre-choreographed so you can bring your creative flair and training expertise into play!


THE ROLE

As a Pilates Instructor or Yoga Instructor, reporting to the Health and Fitness Director, you will:

  • Conduct dynamic group classes that cater to various skill levels.
  • Ensure the safety and appropriateness of exercises for all participants.
  • Build strong connections with class members to foster motivation and engagement.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere in every session.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of our wellness programs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)
  • DHS Working With Children Check
  • International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
  • Pilates Certification (Matwork) and/or;
  • Yoga Certification
  • AusActive Registration in one or more of the above roles
  • HLTAID009 Provide CPR
  • Cert III or IV Fitness (Desirable)
  • Group Exercise Instructor Certification (Desirable)
