THE ROLE
Are you an OSHC Educator looking for the next step in your career, or a current OSHC Director looking to make a difference at a non-for-profit organisation?
The Y is currently seeking an OSHC Service Director to lead our team at Emmaus South Plympton School OSHC! As our OSHC Service Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our passionate and dedicated team to create a supportive work atmosphere and deliver outstanding programs that promote children's growth and development.

Your leadership and expertise will ensure that our care, recreation, and leisure programs are of the highest quality, providing children with the best possible experiences. You will inspire continuous learning and professional development among our educators, sharing information and knowledge on best practices, policy developments, and community changes.
As a motivated and customer-focused leader, you will go above and beyond to maintain the highest quality of service, placing a strong emphasis on the social, emotional, and interpersonal development of children.
This is a part-time role offering 19 hours per week, based at South Plympton, with a preferred start date of 12 October. There's also the opportunity to pick up extra shifts at the Y's other OSHC sites in the BSC.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
Tertiary Qualification in Children’s Services (relevant field), or equivalent knowledge or experience (Highly Desirable)
HLTAID009 Provide CPR
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” (RRHAN-EC) Training
Food Handling Certification
National Child Safety Training (Foundation and Advanced, as required by Dept. of Education)
Strong leadership experience to staff, including training, quality improvement, support, and maintaining the standards of service (Desirable)
