ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at Riverton Pool, you will keep pool users safe and be a visible, trusted presence in the community. We're looking for people with the right attitude, alert, reliable, and genuinely caring about keeping others safe. This is a casual role with flexible shifts running from now through to November, ideal to fit around study or other commitments. No prior experience needed, and we welcome applicants aged 16 and over.
Key duties are:
Actively supervise pool users to ensure safety at all times
Identify risks and respond to incidents or emergencies promptly
Deliver first aid and emergency response when required
Promote safe aquatic practices and positive patron behaviours
Maintain pool operations, equipment setup, and safety compliance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
No qualifications or experience needed. Successful candidates will have or be willing to obtain:
Pool Lifeguard certificate
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide CPR
RRHAN-EC Masterclass
Strong communication skills and commitment to safety
Desirable:
Pool Plant Operator certification
