ABOUT THE ROLES
Based at St Clair Recreation Centre, we're hiring across two casual roles, Health and Fitness Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor. You can apply for either or both. Both roles help members reach their health and wellbeing goals, with flexible shifts designed to fit around study or other commitments.
As a Health and Fitness Instructor, your key duties are:
Provide friendly, expert health and fitness advice through member consultations
Supervise the health club, offering technical advice, support and encouragement
Make sure members follow health club etiquette guidelines
Deliver safe, appropriate and effective programs within your scope of practice
Keep the health club and associated work areas clean, safe and tidy
As a Group Fitness Instructor, your key duties are:
Deliver high quality group fitness classes within prescribed program formats and guidelines
Set up the studio and have each class ready to start on time, then pack down afterwards
Ensure the health and safety of all participants
Foster a sense of belonging and build rapport with participants

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will have:
Certificate III in Fitness
AusActive Registration - Accredited Professional
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people reach their health goals
Certificate IV in Fitness or Pilates Certification is desirable
