THE ROLE

Kensington Community Leisure Centre is seeking suitably qualified and highly motivated instructors to work within our Health and Fitness areas. We are currently seeking qualified Group Fitness Instructors to join our team.

As a Group Fitness Instructor, reporting to the Health and Fitness Director, you will:

  • Deliver high quality Group Fitness classes within all prescribed program formats / guidelines
  • Ensure the required Group Fitness Studio is set up and class is ready to start as per scheduled time, and studio is packed up at end of class
  • Ensure the Health & Safety of all participants
  • Foster a sense of belonging and build rapport with participants

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates for our Group Fitness Instructor role will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • Cert IV in Fitness
  • (HLTAID009) Provide CPR
  • (HLTAID011) First Aid
  • AusActive Registration
  • Evening availability in the role

Additionally, desirable attributes for successful candidates will have:

  • Boxing Qualification
  • Strength for Life (COTA SA) Qualification
