THE ROLE

Do you thrive on creating welcoming spaces where people feel supported, energised and inspired? Are you passionate about helping others improve their wellbeing through facilitating thoughtfully designed yoga sessions?

If so, here's your opportunity to join us here at The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre as a Hot Mat Pilates Instructor. In this role, every class you deliver is an opportunity to create a positive and inclusive experience for our members. You will guide participants through safe, engaging yoga sessions that support strength, flexibility, mindfulness and overall wellbeing. You’ll foster a calm and welcoming environment, ensuring participants of all abilities feel comfortable, supported and confident in their practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct dynamic group classes that cater to various skill levels.
  • Ensure the safety and appropriateness of exercises for all participants.
  • Develop a strong connection with class members to foster motivation and engagement.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere in every session.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of our wellness programs.
  • Participate in team meetings, training and centre events where required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • Pilates Mat Certification
  • Yoga Certification
  • AusActive Registration in the above role
  • HLTAID009 Provide CPR
  • Cert III or IV Fitness (Desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience delivering Mat Pilates programs
