THE ROLE

Do you want to build your skills in leadership, communication and coaching while building your experience through delivering engaging gymnastic programs? Are you interested in joining an organisation that values your contribution and puts community wellbeing at the heart of everything we do?

The Valleys is looking to start a gymnastics program in 2026 to provide children an opportunity to learn gymnastics skills in a fun and safe environment. If you or someone you know is qualified or interested in obtaining the relevant qualifications, please let us know. We'd love to have a chat and see how we can shape this role to kick off gymnastics at The Valleys!

As a Gymnastics Coach, you will:

  • Deliver excellent customer service using strong communication and problem-solving skills to address enquiries and concerns
  • Assist in the development of all participants and provide relevant, constructive feedback to the relevant parties
  • Ensure program and centre policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements are upheld
  • Deliver excellent customer service using strong communication and problem-solving skills to address enquiries and concerns
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised gymnastics environment throughout each shift
  • Participate in team development, training sessions and staff meetings

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • (HLTAID009) Provide CPR
  • (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid
  • RRHAN-EC Masterclass – Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care
  • International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
  • National Criminal History Records Check (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Current Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership
  • Gym Sports Coaching Accreditation – Gymnastics Australia
    • Fundamental Accreditation (Level 1)
    • Intermediate Accreditation (Level 2)
    • Advanced Accreditation (Level 3)
