Swimming teachers
Swimming Teachers inspire confidence and motivate swimmers to become proficient while providing life-saving skills. They provide a fun and safe environment where students love to learn to swim.
Interested but currently not qualified? That is okay, we are happy to work with anyone who displays enthusiasm to become a swimming teacher. Training and education can be supported to gain ongoing employment with the Y.
Lifeguards
Pool Lifeguards take on much greater responsibility than simply supervising water space. As well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks, lifeguards will act as positive role models to their community.
