YMCA South Australia and Alexandrina Council have partnered to continue the delivery of community exercise programs in Strathalbyn and Goolwa in 2021.
The collaboration is aimed at growing existing programs, with the YMCA committed to ensuring that community exercise programs continue to provide physical and mental wellbeing benefits to all of the Alexandrina community. Check out our timetable below.
Strength for Life | Supervised strength training program designed for those 50Y+ |
Active Stretch | Fit ball and mat work focusing on improving core and strength |
Keep Fit | Low impact aerobic exercise to build strength, balance and flexibility |
Strength & Balance | A class utilising some chair-based exercises with hand weights to build strength and balance |
Chair, Strength & Balance | Aimed at frailer people utilising more chair-based exercises to build strength, coordination and balance |
