Leap Discovery is a training and support program aimed at providing young people living with a disability who are recent school leavers, with a pathway to transition into the open workforce.
The aim of the program is to identify and develop the individual strengths of each participant and provide the appropriate training and guidance to enable productive employment and subsequent career development within the wider community.
Leap Discovery can be accessed through local area NDIS Coordinators in the Holdfast Bay and Fluerieu areas.
This program will support individuals to develop skills within both commercial kitchen and café areas. Building vocational skills to support them to gain employment within the hospitality field.
Where: Holdfast Bay Community Centre
When: 9:00am - 3:30pm
Cost: NDIS Plan with Finding and Keeping a Job or School Leavers Employment Supports.
