The Young CEO Movement is about you – we will help you build a meaningful experience that is tailored to your aspirations!

YMCA Australia is excited to announce the Young CEO for a Day initiative has been relaunched as the Young CEO Movement 2019. These changes have been developed by the newly formed, youth-led leadership team to ensure the initiative transcends just one day (as in previous years) and is a more meaningful experience for the young people involved.

The 2019 initiative will be refocused, re-energised and designed to support our organisation in our aspirations to support and empower young people.

Young CEOs will participate in multiple training opportunities and become their Association’s CEO for the Day on April 12th 2019. The Young CEOs will work alongside their CEO and senior leaders, and discuss how their YMCA is currently committed to living our Belief. This year will involve intergenerational leadership in action; sharing ideas for organisational change and community impact.

The initiative is an expression of YMCA’s belief in the power of inspired young people. As we strive toward becoming a youth-informed and inspired Movement, we are committed to empowering and listening to our young people.
