Gymnastics Coaches - Glengowrie, State Sports Park, Seaford or O'Sullivan Beach

THE ROLE

Do you want to build your skills in leadership, communication and coaching while building your experience through delivering engaging gymnastic programs? Are you interested in taking on a role where you are well supported throughout this journey, with some flexibility in your weekly hours to suit your availability?

If so, here's your opportunity to join us at one of our well-designed YMCA SA Gymnastics sites. From State Sports Park to O'Sullivan Beach, we are currently looking for passionate and engaging Gymnastics Coaches to add to our growing team. Here at the Y, our coaches play a key role in helping young people develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love for movement. You'll be part of a passionate and supportive team committed to delivering high- quality programs and focus on enjoyment as well as positive experiences for every participant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver excellent customer service using strong communication and problem-solving skills to address enquiries and concerns
• Assist in the development of all participants and provide relevant, constructive feedback to the relevant parties
• Ensure program and centre policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements are upheld
• Deliver excellent customer service using strong communication and problem-solving skills to address enquiries and concerns
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised gymnastics environment throughout each shift
• Participate in team development, training sessions and staff meeting
  

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

• (HLTAID009) Provide CPR
• (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid
• RRHAN-EC Masterclass – Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care
• International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
• National Criminal History Records Check (issued within the last 6 months)
• Current Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership
• Gym Sports Coaching Accreditation – Gymnastics Australia
  • Fundamental Accreditation (Level 1)
  • Intermediate Accreditation (Level 2)
  • Advanced Accreditation (Level 3)
