YMCA South Australia is seeking an inspired Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health team at the Aquadome and produce meaningful health outcomes for the community.

Facilities at the Aquadome include a 400 square metre Health Club, Group Fitness studio, Cycle Studio, Indoor 50 metre pool with ramp access, Indoor 25 metre heated program pool with beach entrance, Spa and Steam room.

The role of the Exercise Physiologist is to prepare, design and deliver tailored clinical health assessments and exercise sessions to our clients. You will have the opportunity to deliver one on one and group sessions in both a gym and hydro environment.

The client types you will see are: - Chronic Disease Management (Medicare) - DVA - Workcover - NDIS - Private

You will also be required to continuously develop the Allied Health program at the Aquadome, including conversion of clients into gym members through selling the benefits of one on one personal training support and connecting members on the health club floor.

Qualifications and Affiliations required:

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
  • Registered Exercise Physiologist with ESSA
  • National Criminal History Record Check - dated within 12 months (otherwise must renew)
  • HLTAID001 CPR + HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
  • Certificate of completion "Responding to Abuse and Neglect"(or willing to undergo training)
